in the last weekExcellent place! We were there on Wednesday from 1 to 3 pm. It was wonderful. It has so many beautiful places, central air conditioning, and the service was perfect; we weren't bothered at all. I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10. The garden area is beautiful.

2 weeks agoI recently photographed a quinceañera pre session at Paraiso Maravilla, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. My client had rented the venue for one hour. The lady told my client to arrive at 2:40 PM so she would have time to change before the session. We arrived and were never greeted or given any direction. There was another quinceañera session happening, and the other client’s belongings were still in the women’s changing room. After waiting and still not being greeted, we eventually decided my client should change in the men’s changing area because her dress was extremely heavy and we didn’t want to continue losing time. At one point, a man asked my assistant if our clients had arrived. He told him yes, but he still never introduced himself, greeted us, or explained who he was or how our rental time would be handled considering the delay. We were finally able to begin photographing around 3:15 PM. Toward the end of the session, we had one last location we wanted to use, but there was another different quinceañera that was photographing there. Around 4 PM, the man approached us and told us our time was up and we needed to leave. My client politely asked if we could take her final photos at the entrance, and he said no and that she would be charged for an entire additional hour. We respected that and began leaving. While waiting in the hallway for the other quinceañera to finish so we could get through, I took a few silly close-up photos of my client while we waited. At that point, my client called the woman she had been communicating with throughout the booking process and explained the situation. She told my client it was okay to take the last photos. Once we received that permission, we went to quickly take them as soon as the new quinceanera had finished with the location. The man immediately came over extremely upset and accused us of “going behind his back.” The problem was that none of us even knew who he was because he had never introduced himself or greeted us. He then told my client that he was losing money because we were there. When my client told him he was being rude, he told us to get out and get off his property and said he did not care if we left bad reviews. The entire interaction was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. When I reached my car, which was right across the small street, I checked the time and it was 4:17 PM. That included the time we spent waiting for the other quinceañera to finish, the confusion over permission, and the confrontation itself. I completely understand venues having strict rental times and charging for additional time. As a photographer, I work with timed sessions and event venues regularly. My issue is not that there was a one-hour limit. My issue is the lack of communication from the beginning and the way my client and our team were spoken to and treated over a matter of minutes. This was supposed to be a special experience for a young lady preparing for her quinceañera. Instead, the session ended with her being yelled at and told to get off the property. There were much more professional and respectful ways this could have been handled. The venue itself is great for photo backdrops, but unfortunately, based on the way this situation was handled, I would not feel comfortable recommending it to my future quinceañera clients.

2 weeks agoDO NOT TAKE YOUR PHOTOS HERE. The owner himself said that he DID NOT CARE that I write a negative review so here it is :) Our experience with this venue turned extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We booked Paraiso Maravilla for a quinceañera photoshoot, and the male venue owner, Soahail, was extremely rude, and unprofessional. We were specifically told that someone would be waiting at the door to greet us and escort us to our suite to get dressed. When we arrived, no one was there. Another family was still taking photos, so we had to go upstairs ourselves to find Soahail and ask whether we could access the suite. Because of this, we started our 1 hour session approximately 15 minutes late. During the final portion of our scheduled time, Soahail began following us around and repeatedly monitoring us. With approximately 10 minutes remaining in our paid session, another family entered and occupied the area where we needed to take our final photos. Rather than allowing us to finish the session we had paid for especially considering that we had already lost approximately 15 minutes due to the delayed start he told us that our time was over and that we needed to leave. When we tried to take one final pose, he became angry and confrontational and kicked us out, he literally chased us out. We were rushed and disrespected. The entire experience turned sour and took away from what should have been a special quinceañera photoshoot. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue for photoshoots. He told us he was “losing money” by allowing us to stay just five extra minutes. As a paying customer, I found that extremely rude. A little kindness and flexibility could have completely changed our review. Instead, we were rushed out and left feeling like our business wasn’t valued. If he’s worried about losing money, he should consider how treating customers this way may ultimately cause him to lose business.
