Lone Star Oaks

My wife and I just got married here 2 weeks ago, and it just was the most amazing day and Lone Star Oaks played a huge part in that. First off, the pictures don't do this place justice on just how pretty it really is, and you really need to see it for yourself to understand! From the outdoors areas, to the chapel, to the bride and groom suites, it made for amazing pictures and a stunning setting. Second, all of the staff and owners are just the most friendly people and super helpful too. Mary and Dave were so helpful the day of and Dave even helped me unload and set up all the drinks for the bartenders. You can tell that they both believe in and love the work they do and want everyone to have their special day. Also the bartenders they hire are amazing. Always ready to go, engaging with our guests, and when our caterer fell through on some obligations they stepped in to help with us. Lastly, the intangibles around bride's weekends and touring the venue to do mock set ups, the immediate communication and responses, and the advice and recommendations from watching hundreds of weddings helped us to work through some big obstacles early on. The only feedback I think I would have for our entire process with LSO would be maybe some better clarity on pricing. We had a page with venue pricing and some handwritten notes on security and bartenders and deposit, but got confused and thought that was all together on venue pricing. Maybe a pricing sheet that details each line item would help couples accurately see total cost like: venue, security deposit, bartenders, security, bar package, etc. It's not enough to knock this down below 5 stars because some of that was definitely on us not paying attention and being overwhelmed in the planning, just an idea on how to get to 6 star service :). Thank you to the entire LSO team for making our day the perfect one.

Lone Star Oaks was absolutely amazing. The value for the venue was definitely worth it, and their team was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony, but when it started raining, we moved indoors and it was still just as stunning. The caketini was also a huge hit with our guests. Amazing customer service! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and kind!! We used them for our basketball banquet and everything turned out perfect. They truly went above and beyond to help us, great experience and highly recommend!

I had such a great experience photographing a wedding at Lone Star Oaks. It is such a beautiful venue and truly a dream location for wedding photography. The property has gorgeous open fields and outdoor areas that create the most beautiful natural backdrops for photos. There are so many spots around the venue that photograph incredibly well, which makes it easy to give couples a gallery with lots of variety throughout the day. I also love the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour spaces. They feel relaxed, scenic, and perfectly suited for a Texas Hill Country wedding. The indoor reception area is just as beautiful and gives couples a great option for celebrating comfortably with all their guests. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, which makes it very flexible for different wedding styles and weather situations. Another thing that stood out to me was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the day, which always makes a huge difference for vendors and couples alike. Overall, Lone Star Oaks is a fantastic venue with stunning scenery, great spaces for every part of the wedding day, and a wonderful team behind it. I would absolutely love to photograph here again.

I cannot say enough positive words about this venue. It felt like home!! I was stressed for things not involved with my wedding and the way the day flowed so smoothly you could never tell. I am from Killeen and wanted something close to home. I was extremely nervous about finding something while living in my new home state, Colorado . Mary was a blessing through the whole experience. Offering me an affordable package with everything we could ever need. Day of coordinator, decoration , beautiful venue with amazing scenery, DJ and caketinis! My whole wedding felt like a dream come true. The DJ was amazing! James and Trelawney were amazing to work with because they just listened and did not judge with different ideas, or even just not knowing where to start with a schedule. Im not your normal bride . I wanted the beautiful dress and space to be with family and friends. This place went above and beyond . With decorations being included if wanted was a big reason as well for choosing lone star oaks because again, I prioritized a good time and Mary was very communicative and made it exactly what I wanted! My grandparents really enjoyed being able to step directly outside next to the dance floor for some more quiet time and enjoy the views yet again.
