3 months agoWe had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding here. We especially loved how everything is taken care of by Candy, Jazmine & staff. They take care of bartending service, officiant, our wedding cake, having a full room of decoration and linen options to choose from plus a great menu of items for our guests to enjoy. We loved the pop-up wedding package for a quick ceremony and reception all in one place with groom & bride rooms to get ready in. It was the most perfect time and would highly recommend for any couples who are looking to tie the knot on a budget while not giving up on the little details for your special day.

7 months agoThis venue has it all! They get everything done for you - cake, officiant, decorations, bartender, food, kids tent, sparkler exit. EVERYTHING. It made planning a wedding so easy. I chose this venue because it had benches instead of chairs for the ceremony area and that was big on my must haves plus the trees and surroundings made for the best pictures. Candy and Jasmine were so great to work with and our big day was magical. Definitely recommend booking your wedding here!

3 years agoWhen my now husband and I went searching for venues, we had a budget in mind. We were looking for a medium-sized wedding that wouldn’t cost us a fortune and would provide us and our guests a fun and unique Texas experience. So when we found La Escondida, it satisfied all of our needs. From a cost perspective, La Escondida had one of the more reasonable prices. Combine this with the fact that you provide the alcohol, it really cut down on costs. We really liked the idea that it was a “one-stop-shop” kind of deal, so we didn’t have to worry about finding all of our own vendors and they allowed us bring in additional vendors of our choosing. We used their DJ, caterer, bartenders, decorator, and officiant, who all met our expectations or exceeded them. They also let us bring in a street taco vendor for late night snacks and agua frescas. The venue itself lives up to its name as it feels remote and quiet with beautiful natural scenery, and is perfect for small and medium sized weddings. We specifically chose this venue to capture the feel of rural rustic Texas. I think the main thing that we’d like to highlight is how little my husband and I had to worry about things on our special day. Our day-of-coordinator, Jazzy, made both of us feel like we could just be present and enjoy the wedding, handling the timing and small details. She was really the selling point for us and hopefully y’all get a chance to work w/ her if you choose this venue. Shout out to Candy who runs the whole show, very pleased we could do business w/ y’all!

7 years agoIf you’re looking for a beautiful outdoor style wedding venue, look no further, this is place for you! La Escondida Celebration Center is the perfect place for a beautiful wedding. Candy and her staff will take care of all the details from beginning to end. The years of experience and know how were evident from day one. She was always easy to reach and had the perfect answer to every question. On the day of our wedding, everything ran EXTREMELY smooth and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Our guests all said they had never been to a wedding that went so smoothly.

8 years agoFirst of all, I want to start out with the basics. My wedding ended up looking like a Pinterest wedding and the only things I had to take care of were our photographer, DJ, alcohol, bouquets, officiant and attire. Candy took care of everything else - included in the venue cost. She provided the decorations, food, drinks, cake, hot chocolate/apple cider, tables, chairs, sparklers (for sparkler exit) and ceremony area. Our entire wedding totaled out to be less than $10,000 and it was GORGEOUS. Like any wedding, ours had a few hiccups. We were married on November 25, 2017. Our color scheme was ivory, burgundy, green, and hints of gold. I chose a bouquet to reflect these colors, however my florist gave me peach, green, blue, and dark red flowers/berries with no solution to fix the problem. My bridesmaids ran to HEB to buy new flowers and one of Candy's employees actually fixed the bouquets for me while the girls and I got ready. The other issue at hand was my groom. He had his bachelor party the night before our wedding (this was unavoidable as a few of his groomsmen arrived in town the day before the wedding) and long story short, he was still hungover before our wedding. I like to consider myself to be a laid-back person, but I was running on three hours of sleep and was VERY stressed out so I went a little "bridezilla" on everyone and was ready to push our wedding out a few hours so my soon-to-be-husband could get it together. Candy took the initiative to check in on him and then calm me down. She completely diffused the entire situation-something none of us expected her to do- and I'm still so grateful to have had her. She kept everything running smooth and on schedule and I would HIGHLY recommend the gorgeous venue and lovely staff to anyone looking to have an outdoor wedding.
