a month agoMy young daughter and I took a little 2-night staycation to Onera before Christmas. We stayed in the Monolith and it couldn't have been any better! The treehouse was extremely clean with amazing views on 3 sides. The hot tub overlooking the creek was so serene; beautiful; peaceful. There are no televisions (a great thing), but I brought a small mini-projector to play movies on the ceiling above the bed while falling asleep at night. I didn't realize how close Main Street was because it feels as if we were miles away from everything! Iris (Operating Manager) was extremely friendly and accessible at all times to answer any questions with a quick text message. The solidarity and beauty of this property is something we will never forget. I'm telling everyone & showing pics to anyone that will listen! We will definitely be back soon. So glad to have found you! Paige & Quinn

2 weeks agoI would not come back. Location is great, units are great, it’s clean and nice. But the pool and sauna area appear to have a gas leak. It smells pretty strong like natural gas and makes unpleasant to be there. The hot pools and jacuzzi emit strong chlorine smell that you have to inhale the whole time you are in them which I think is potentially harmful for people’s health. The saunas are usually cold. To use them you have to turn them on and wait about one minute per degree to get hotter. It was set around 90 degrees. To make it 150 I had to wait almost an hour To use it. The prices are pretty ridiculous and it doesn’t feel and look as high end as the website makes it seem

a month agoWe had a great stay at Onera Fredericksburg for a surprise birthday getaway and stayed in Monolith 122. While there were a few minor hiccups along the way, the team was always incredibly gracious, responsive, and proactive in their communication, which made a big difference and made us feel well taken care of. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff’s professionalism and attentiveness truly stood out. We appreciated how everything was handled and would absolutely recommend Onera to anyone looking for a unique Hill Country escape.

a week agoThere was no TV in the cabin. It was not as secluded as I thought, it was by the gates & road. There was no ice in the ice trays when we got there. The chairs on the deck were uncomfortable with not padding in them. On their website there was no mention of any of the amenities, like no TV. For the price it should have been better!

4 months agoWe stayed in Spiral on the new side of Onera and absolutely loved it! The space was huge with giant floor-to-ceiling windows that made it feel open and peaceful, but there were also thick blackout curtains so you could sleep in without any light coming through. The bed was so comfortable — honestly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful, with black and white tile that gave it a clean, modern look. The porch area was another favorite — really big and super private thanks to the wall that wraps around it. It even had a private hot tub, which was such a nice touch and the perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The woman who runs the resort was so kind and helpful. She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us great local recommendations for food and things to do. Everything about this place felt relaxing, private, and thoughtfully designed. We’ll definitely be coming back — it’s the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and style.
