a week agoVery disappointed as I had spoke with someone 2 weeks ago about coming today for a tour. She had told me to be there @ 9am. Well I was there, along with a couple and their son from Houston. All doors were locked and no on was there. He and I both made calls, with just vm. Not one phone call back nor a reply from an email that I sent to the director. I can understand if something happened where they couldn't show, but no one bothered to respond. Not a good look for the city of Port Aransas as well as their museum. I waited until 10:15 while the other family left after 45 mins of waiting. I live on Padre Island so I can always make another appointment but that family was only here for the weekend. Businesses should respond faster then they will regarding this review. I wasted 2 hours of my day without seeing this chapel. VERY DISAPPOINTED To the owner, I made my reservation 2 WEEKS AGO!! No one was there at 9am! The other couple were there before 9am. We tried all doors. We called a bunch of numbers. While I understand you have someone handle the tours, clearly they forgot that either of us were coming. You might want to speak to the museum as they clearly did not hold the reservation down. Again, if they had no one to be there, call me back or the other couple back! I am not that stupid that I can't follow directions on the website about how to arrange a tour.
