a week agoThe venue is absolutely beautiful, but the planning support did not match the premium experience we expected. More than a month before our event, I proactively asked what the rain backup plan would be. It wasn’t until the week of the event that we were told the only backup option was a parking-lot pavilion—not the castle venue we had booked. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, but if it hadn’t, we would have been left with a completely different setting despite paying for a castle venue, with no option to reschedule or receive a refund. I understand the contract states there are no refunds for inclement weather, which is exactly why I asked well in advance about a backup plan. Unfortunately, I was essentially told that the decision was mine because they were “just the venue” and couldn’t offer additional assistance. I can’t imagine being a bride in that situation in paying for a castle wedding and ending up under a pavilion. I posted pictures of what we “would” have had to use if it rained. There were also far more hoops to jump through with vendors than I’ve experienced at any other venue. Many issues were only addressed after we brought them up instead of being anticipated through the planning process. The dance floor from the required vendor was also disappointing. The panels were literally separating and melting in the sun during the event, which was surprising considering the cost. I expected much better quality. The property itself is stunning, I did appreciate the beautiful decorations and atmosphere but the planning, communication, and overall support simply didn’t reflect the level of service you’d expect from a premium venue. I truly wanted to have a great experience, but I left feeling disappointed overall.

2 months agoI just wanted to say that I had never been to the Lambermont before, but I recently attended a wedding there and had such a great experience. Monica was one of the venue staff members, and let me tell youshe was incredibly kind, funny, and so helpful throughout the event! I absolutely loved her vibe and honestly wish she worked for me too.The venue is lucky to have someone as hardworking and wonderful as her on their team!
