I cannot say enough positive words about this venue. It felt like home!! I was stressed for things not involved with my wedding and the way the day flowed so smoothly you could never tell. I am from Killeen and wanted something close to home. I was extremely nervous about finding something while living in my new home state, Colorado . Mary was a blessing through the whole experience. Offering me an affordable package with everything we could ever need. Day of coordinator, decoration , beautiful venue with amazing scenery, DJ and caketinis! My whole wedding felt like a dream come true. The DJ was amazing! James and Trelawney were amazing to work with because they just listened and did not judge with different ideas, or even just not knowing where to start with a schedule. Im not your normal bride . I wanted the beautiful dress and space to be with family and friends. This place went above and beyond . With decorations being included if wanted was a big reason as well for choosing lone star oaks because again, I prioritized a good time and Mary was very communicative and made it exactly what I wanted! My grandparents really enjoyed being able to step directly outside next to the dance floor for some more quiet time and enjoy the views yet again.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this wedding venue and the incredible owners. From the very beginning, they were kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Their warmth and support made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. One of the biggest highlights was the decor room. Having full access to it — and being able to visit multiple times before the wedding — was such an amazing experience. Being able to go through everything, visualize our day, and hand-pick decor items made our wedding feel so personal and beautifully curated. The selection was incredible, and the flexibility they offered was truly above and beyond. The outdoor ceremony space is absolutely stunning — picturesque, peaceful, and the perfect backdrop for saying “I do.” It felt magical the moment we stepped into it. The indoor reception space was just as impressive: spacious, elegant, and set up flawlessly for celebrating with our friends and family. Everything about this venue exceeded our expectations, but what truly sets it apart is the heart behind it. The owners care deeply about their couples, and it shows in every detail. We are so grateful we chose this venue and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful space paired with the kindest people you could hope to work with. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and made for a stunning backdrop on our wedding day. The owners were also great about getting back to us throughout the planning process and were helpful leading up to the wedding. However, one area that was disappointing was that two tours were given to potential brides on our wedding day. One of those tours took place during our first look, which took away from what was meant to be a very private and special moment. While we understand the need to show the venue, clearer boundaries on the wedding day would have made the experience even better.

Lone Star Oaks is a beautiful venue. Everyone was so impressed with the wedding and reception there. The staff are helpful, the venue is clean and well appointed, and the deco they let clients use helps save money! 10/10 recommend ❤️

My fiancée and I were scrambling to find a venue after a previous we already contracted with dissolved our contract 4 months before our wedding and shut down entirely within 1 month. We were referred to Mary to check availability and we were IN LOVE with her and her gorgeous venue! She had a by far the kindest and most considerate human I have been connected to in this industry. The venue is not only beautiful, but incredibly well thought out and equipped for any wedding! We ended up having to go with a different venue that had onsite lodging to accommodate the guests that already RSVPd, but this was our top choice if we hadn’t needed lodging on site. TRUST ME! You won’t regret working with Mary and Lonestar Oaks!
